coming home

D and I got a long weekend away. Alleluia!  It was marvelous.  Four days of not worrying about work, kids, the house. What a respite. 

And yet, it was also wonderful to come home. O had the most amazing smile coupled with giggles as he leaped into my arms. The joy radiated. S noticed, too, and said: "O is very happy to be with you. He wants to go to work with you."  

Coming home is marvelous. 

rodeo time

Oma took the kids to the rodeo and despite the yucky weather, everyone had a great time. I was amazed to see pictures of the kids so close to all the animals!  My cowboys and cowgirl are growing up!

It's a little late, but tonight was the Gee Family Association new year celebration. Since all the cousins were dressed up, we HAD to take a picture. 

We should have taken a video of corralling the gang...

poor baby

Oscar has another ear infection, pobrecito. Working as a consultant lets me do this...work while snuggling my baby. Yay!
