Yesterday, for their birthday, we took Sylvia and Rafael to the doctor for shots. Not really. But sort of.
Our doctor told us that when she looked at her schedule and saw their names, she thought someone had made a mistake because she couldn't believe they were already two.
Everything looks good and they're growing and developing wonderfully. Here are the stats:
Sylvia
Height - 35.5" (90%)
Weight - 26 lb 9.6 oz (50%)
HC - 18.74" (54%)
Rafael
Height - 34" (40%)
Weight - 25 lb 6.4 oz (19%)
HC - 20" (94%)
They did get one shot and were A-MA-ZING. Rafa only whimpered a little after it was all over. Sylvia cried about 5 seconds. We were shocked and very pleased. Sylvia did have a little soreness in her leg and was fussy afterwards until that went away, but it wasn't long before playing distracted her enough to ignore it. These days, we get more tears over picking the wrong colored plate for dinner than shots.
