Coming home at the end of a long day at work is an amazing delight. Sylvia and Rafael never fail to bring a smile to my face. They erase all the stress and challenges of the day in mere seconds. As soon as I am in sight, Sylvia turns to me with her signature grin. Sometimes a little giggle, but always at least the big, toothy smile. It's all I need. Rafa always looks up, but doesn't always smile. He watches me enter the room with his intent gaze, then after a few seconds takes off crawling to me, begging to be embraced. It doesn't get any better.
Kids are the greatest. Aren't they?!
